Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

I interviewed for the ER at TCH last Thursday and never got an email with that stuff?

yeah, I'm thinking it is just for some units? because I interviewed for PICU and then got that email with the forms the day after I interviewed (I think) but I don't think every unit has been doing that... but who knows LOL

did you get an offer tho? I've only been hearing that people who get offers get the forms. also I interviewed for PICU and heard nothing ?

Is TCH done sending out interview invites?

I got an email with the forms to fill out on Tuesday before I even had my interview (My interview was on Wednesday)... so I don’t think that means anything regarding whether or not you got the job (unless you’ve gotten an official offer obviously)

I haven't gotten an offer yet, but they said it would be a few weeks until we hear back? maybe it was a mistake hahahah. but best of luck to you!!

waittt so you got the forms a day after your interview? I also interviewed last Tuesday and got no forms ?

@jayyeemeezy how did your NICU interview go? Do you have any pointers/questions they asked?

Hey guys, I reached out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) the recruiter at St. Luke’s asking if they’re still sending out offers. She said they’re still actively making decisions and to hang tight if you haven’t heard back!

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) told me that 2 weeks ago as well
