Houston Nurse Residency Summer 2021 Applicants

I wanted to start a new thread for those of us applying to Houston new grad nurse residency programs to ask questions and share information.

I am brand new to this site so I hope I'm doing this correctly... Good luck everyone!

Yes!! I accepted an offer for their ACHD ICU in the med center!

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

Hey TCH new grads! I started a facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/473355503915970/

We will be able to keep in touch through this group, I also included other ways of communication once you're in the group.

I just interviewed with the ER for main campus and haven’t heard back so I’m crossing my fingers

Has anyone interviewed with TCH for L&D or mother-baby?

congrats! how long after your interview did you get an offer?? I interviewed Tuesday morning and the wait is killing me

I was told the last date for interviews for all campuses is next Tuesday, so you should get a call no later than next week. Some units finished their last interviews on Friday so it just depends

okay because when I asked, the interviewers said they had 50 more candidates to interview and I wouldn’t know for a couple weeks but everyone is hearing back by now ?

What unit did you interview for? I interviewed Tuesday afternoon, received a verbal offer that same day around 8PM and received the written offer Wednesday morning!
