Hope someone in your school remembers.
Yesterday we had lice and then imagined lice from the same class (teacher: I know I saw a bug. Check the whole class. Me: nah).
And the home health nurse for fragile student did not show up (no call) so I became a g-button expert by the end of the day (I realize I had forgotten my hospital training - gather your supplies!).
Happy last day of nurses' week to me!!!!!
As we round out the week, on top of the card and potted plant from our principal, I was presented with personal letters and drawings from one Kinder class and one 1st grade class and today, the PTO rep told me I could take home the Alice-in-Wonderland themed centerpiece from the teacher appreciation luncheon that happened yesterday as "...it was Nurse's day some day this week!" ?

I'm much happier to be in the staff birthday pool; we get cards and stuff then.
I feel the same way. (You'll notice there's no "orthopedic surgeon appreciation week"...)
Nonetheless, when I was offered half a leftover bagel and some cream cheese that had been at room temperature for two hours after the teacher appreciation breakfast, I still took it :)

I got a "thanks for all you do, we appreciate it." by the PTO president on her way out after setting up the teacher appreciation lunch that I wasn't invited to.
