You know those little individual packets of "Adhesive Remover"? (they look like the individual alcohol pad packages). I try to keep some of these on hand for such strange occasions. I used those once, it worked. It is also great for removing sticker gunk!

All I can say is thank goodness there was a trained nurse around to handle the case.

BTW some brands of those adhesive remover pads actually ARE just citrus oil.
