I've removed gum from many students' hair with rubbing alcohol and a lice comb. It takes forever, but it's effective. The only bad part is that they go home smelling like alcohol...

You guys are making me hungry.

I'm thinking to make one of my chocolate protein shakes with peanut butter, only I'm going to use almond butter. Mmmmmm ... Skippy PB (orange lid).

I can't believe no one has mentioned hand sanitizer! I had a girl with black hair and a giant glob of bright blue gum put there by another student. Took a little while to get all the little blue pieces out since her hair was so long, but it worked great. FYI I use hand sanitizer(cautiously) to remove stuck bandages and anything else with adhesive in it. I learned this as a wound care nurse. So much better than ripping those bandages off sensitive elderly skin and taking it off right with the bandage:bluecry1:
