Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.
Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.
Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.
Thanks everyone, you are all correct I believe. I am worn out, had a bad week, and just can't get motivated to finish this class. I am just sitting here looking at the screen and shouting "Just turn it in". Then I look at the CLC Agreement and find out that I am responsible to turn it in.....
On a much happier note, I have worked so much overtime this week I will be able to purchase a shade tarp for my patio and a new smoker for fathers day..... Just in time for July 4th!
Totally off topic. Got to see the house. Six bedrooms but two other rooms without proper exit route so cannot count as bedrooms. The house is ginormous! I will have my own scrapbook room, which will make me super happy!! And it's official my husband got the job. He is still completing hisBSN and he went up against one guy with a PhD. Sometimes life experience does payoff.
I think you got the worst advisor ever Flames, sorry, but it sounds this way from what you've posted.
and to top it off, i said i would start AMP 450 today..vice next Monday if i could get a certain prof.... She said I got the prof..sweet....check saturday, class starts today, BUT with a different prof...oh well..... traveling back to Ecuador today

It does sound like you have a poor advisor. I guess I am lucky that I have not had to enlist the help of my advisor too much. I do have to call her this Friday to take the little break I have planned!!!!

i emaied her sunday...and she managed to switch the class back to the prof I wanted, whewww...both DQs already done for the week......
How soon can I start to request a professor for Capstone? I just started Trends today and in 4 weeks I will start Capstone. I am getting a little nervous about getting into a class with one of the "preferred ones"! Nervous, excited, scared, etc.....
