Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.
Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.
Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

All but 2 or 3 classes have a group project that can be a pain if you have lazy people but most programs have group projects. The program is a little expensive but got a nice discount because I was military. My only real complaint is they changed the capstone halfway though the classes and now require a mentor and a non-affiliation agreement which makes no sense. Besides that, yes I would recommend the program. Some people take 2 classes at a time which if you work full time and have a family would be very hard. Let me know if you decide to do it and I can give you some pointers.

Hello All,
Thank you, everyone,, who have contributed greatly on this forum. It is a very informative post. I have decided to attend GCU for my RN-BSN journey. Can anyone help with choosing instructors. I understand you can not post in public so please if you can message I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Hello Ruffless,
Did you receive any responses concerning which instructors to choose? If you did would you forward that to me at [email protected]. I am currently speaking with a counselor and have had my transcript evaluated for the RN-BSN track. I was to start August 27th but not sure I will have enough money to start. When do you start?
Thank you
Hello all! I am currently enrolled in the RN-BSN GCU online and program. I have been reading this thread for a couple days now and was wondering if there is a current one from students this year? I will be starting on November 5 and would like any tips from past students. Also anybody that is currently enrolled too?
Thanks!
