Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Did anyone have a Capstone prof that waited the full week to post grades? The waiting is really tough! Hopefully she will post soon

Heck no. Three days max

My prof waited 6 days. It was torture. I didn't submit my other work until I knew what my grade was on my previous work in case I needed to make any changes. Oh well, this too shall pass....

All this talk about grades is really stressing me today. I handed in a paper tonight that I was not happy with. My heart wasn't in it and I was not satisfied with it. This was the latest I have ever been with an assignment. I just need to be done.

She posted grades 10 minutes before the 1 week deadline and I got a perfect score.... Maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought, but I do know it isn't a perfect paper.... I guess take it and run....

I think some of the Profs give u the benefit of the doubt.....u got to Capstone, so u must be ok...

From all I hear and see, I will get a decent education for my buck at GCU. Many other online programs may be cheaper but there are constant timed quizzes and tests. I know, from my vantage point, I can't handle that stress and work full time as well. Either I do it with GCU or forget it.

Which class was this?

It is nursing research not my favorite instructor either I wouldn't take her again

Our prof just assigned the colors for our groups today in capstone! :roflmao: Please tell me that we don't have a clc in capstone. :arghh: I have looked through the syllabus and don't see anything that looks like we would need to be in groups. Any ideas?

Derk...how did this turn out? That is just insane! I told my hubs and he lol. Said that would have sent me round the bend fo'sure! He just finished his first class (as a official student in his program) with an A. I do believe I saw some of those same looks I made ...back in the day!!!! Lolololololol. :lol2:

Winter

It took about a week before the prof posted that there was not a clc. I was so busy writing that I couldn't even think enough to stress over it! This is a crazy puzzle I am putting together for this class. Sure wish there were directions for it! A nice explanation before you begin would be good. My brain is soooo tired of thinking and my fingers are soooo tired of typing. Can't wait for this to be over! 2 1/2 weeks left

Hi Guys! So we made it to new hometown. Start work tomorrow, and we are not in house yet. Hence really poor internet where we are staying. I'm done with moving already.

Best wishes Winter. I hope you love where you are. Moving is so much work. I don't know envy you! LOL
