Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Will I be able to go into Loud Cloud during the Christmas break? I know that I cannot post anything, but I would like to look at the assignments. I want to work ahead on my assignments since I am starting my next class before I am finished with my current one.
I cant recall if I could or not last Xmas break---thus why I went and copy/pasted all the DQ's and papers stuff..so I don't have to worry, lol

It will be open and available for perusing, but don't even think about posting anything in there. My class just got a warning from the Instr that basically said NO, NONE, NADA, DON'T TOUCH, and if you do, it won't be counted as participation or assignment submission. I think I will actually take that advice this year, I need a vaca something fierce!

You can also download the syllabus. You go to resources --> syllabus --> overall --> in the top right there is a download button. This will download a PDF version of the syllabus which includes DQs, assignment prompts, and chapters to read.
It doesn't include the assignment rubrics or the lectures though.
Speaking of rubrics, is there an easy way to print them out? I have been cutting and pasting them, which really sucks.
I just cut/paste to a Word doc, that way I can delete out all the stuff I don't care about :)
P.S. Cute avatar! I wish I could put a Christmas hat on my chimp :tree: :santa: :snowman:
I gotta say, and it may be too early to accurately assess the situation, but so far this Patho class is a welcome reprieve. I'm finishing week 1, and I just can't believe the "less stress" I feel with only one DQ due for the week. Yeah, it was a big one and took me a while, but it was only one, and it wasn't due til Friday. Plus, it is medicine-focused, which is also a nice deviation from theory and the profession of nursing. I loved being able to do "human body" stuff! The fact that there's only 1 DQ gave me a chance to somewhat relax and get caught up during the week, do my relplies (which are easier, because we're all just focusing on the one issue). The 1st assignment due is a test/quiz that you can't submit until you get 100%, and that took it's toll on me last night because I just kept going around and around in circles - obviously I don't know my ABGs!!! But, once that 100% is finally granted by the internet gods, it's done, submitted, and here I am on Saturday with only 2 DQ replies left to go (already typed up saved to a Word doc for post tomorrow), and the week is in the bag. Wow, give me a test any day over a paper that makes my brain cramp. Yay, ready for the Christmas VACA!!

A coworker also said Patho isn't bad. I switched to have Trends first so I could have the instructor she recommended for Patho and will double up 2 weeks with Trends and Patho. Hoping it's not too crazy during those 2 weeks!
