Grady RN Residency - Summer 2020

Hi everyone! Is anyone else in the process of applying to Grady Memorial’s RN residency program that’s set to start this August?

I may be impatient (?!) but I applied a little over a week ago and have yet to hear back.

Has anyone heard anything back? Or for anyone who went through the process for Winter 2020, how long did it take you to hear back?

Has anyone completed their background check from out of state? Where can I get the fingerprint cards from?

I did my licensing & fingerprinting in MD because I thought that’s where I was going, and they had to mail me the physical card! So you may have to call the board of nursing and get them to send it to you!

OK so now we have to schedule a 15 minute conversation to go over the results of our interview? Why? I would prefer a yes or no LOL?

Since not everyone got the email, I’m wondering if this is a good thing. I’ve never had to set up an appointment for feedback for jobs that I’ve received offers for. This is weird. ?
