Remote work

Looking to step away from bedside nursing wanted to see suggestions about remote nursing/at home for RN/BSN any thoughts be appreciated

I too would appreciate suggestions as nothing has worked for me in trying to work from home. Seems like companies say AAS is OK but yet no opportunity or consideration is being given. I want to continue to help people but away from the demands of hospital nursing.

I worked very closely with the nurses in my previous company, all of our roles were work from home with the exception of maybe 3 or so all day meetings a year (if too far from company/unable to travel, they would also join those virtually for the nursing portion of the meeting).

They're not always easy to find, but they're out there! And many of them are just fine with ADN, taking experience into consideration. Positions as nurse coordinators or nurse case managers, also assisting with PAs and appeals all in pharmacy or insurance as Utilization Management nurses.

UBC, Eversana Pharmacy, Acaria Pharmacy, Mercalis, and UHG all come to mind as hiring nurses for any of the above positions as work from home option.
