Your statement about all ABSN programs doing that is false. I completed my ABSN at KSU (16 months), one of the best nursing programs in the state, and I never received a call from a rep. KSU’s ABSN program has been around for several years and the ABSN programs at Mercer and Brenau are fairly new. Maybe it does have something to do with enrollment numbers. Mercer is a great school nonetheless, but Brenau didn’t have the best reputation for their nursing programs. At one point, they almost lost their accreditation due to a low NCLEX pass rate. I received an offer, which I accepted via email, and my status still says "interviewing".

I believe the length of the residency program depends on which unit you work for. That’s how it is at other hospitals, at least. I don’t know how true that is because I was offered more than 24.68, but maybe base pay is unit specific as well.

Hi! How is scheduling at Grady? I have 2 other offers, in which their facilities allow the employees to self-schedule. Does Grady offer the same? Also do you guys get student loan forgiveness and tuition assistance? Thank you!

Is anyone taking NURS 4402 online? How would you rate the level of difficulty? Due to your experience, would you recommend taking it online?
