Grady RN Residency - Summer 2020

Hi everyone! Is anyone else in the process of applying to Grady Memorial’s RN residency program that’s set to start this August?

I may be impatient (?!) but I applied a little over a week ago and have yet to hear back.

Has anyone heard anything back? Or for anyone who went through the process for Winter 2020, how long did it take you to hear back?

Hello! I received an email this morning with a link to sign up for an interview time. The date was already chosen for me according to specialty.

I also just received an interview with the 24th already chosen as a date. Good Luck to us!

Hello! I applied to the new graduate nurse program on February 9th. I checked my application status and it was updated on Feb 26th. I noticed that my email address was wrong on my account. I’m wondering if they sent an email and I just didn’t get it because the email address is wrong ?! I tried calling but of course no answer. Not sure what to do ??

Did you apply for a specialty unit? I know that they are only interviewing on March 24th for specialty units. That may, or may not, be why you haven’t received anything yet.

Also, you can email the recruiter of the residency program, and request that she update your email address: I would also take the time to express my interest in Grady once more before I hit send.

Hey thanks!

I actually just got in touch with the recruiter and I was offered an interview on the 24th. It was sent on the feb 26th to the wrong email address. Luckily she was able to resend it, so I just purchased my flight to attend. Good luck to you all!

I’m glad you heard back! Also awesome to hear that others are coming in from out of state (or far away?) to attend!

I’m actually coming back to Georgia, I lived there for 7 years. I just went out of state for 2 years to attend nursing school. It’s such a long story but I’m excited to come back home ! I applied to Emory as well and did the interview so hopefully I’ll hear back from someone in the end LOL.

Do you have, or will you be graduating with a BSN?

No, with a MSN. I’m in a accelerated masters program at Saint Louis university. I have a bachelors degree in a different field.
