Grady RN Residency - Summer 2020

Hi everyone! Is anyone else in the process of applying to Grady Memorial’s RN residency program that’s set to start this August?

I may be impatient (?!) but I applied a little over a week ago and have yet to hear back.

Has anyone heard anything back? Or for anyone who went through the process for Winter 2020, how long did it take you to hear back?

Check the email for a link. I received 2 identical emails back to back. One with a link, and one without.

I’m hoping you have the link by now, as well as everything else you need for tomorrow.

Good luck you guys! I hope we can all land our spots. I'll try to post an update once I hear back after my interview... I'm starting to get hit with last-minute jitters! Grady is definitely my #1 choice and I'm still in awe that I was invited to interview at my dream unit. Either way, if it's meant to be it'll be ❤️

Feel free to keep in touch, Titilola! And remember - you've already come this far. Obviously there's something about you that intrigued them enough to invite you in for an interview. From here it's showcasing your personality/strengths as well as what you can bring to Grady ?

Of course! We're all in the same boat, honestly!!

And no, LOL. I'm being a crazy person and doing this interview alone. I'm just trying not to stress too much about it - I'll just go from there once I receive word back. #livinglifedangerously

?#livinglifedangerously Yes...Do not stress. They wouldn't waste time on interviewing someone they didn't believe in. Go into that interview and own it! You got this!

Initially, they said that we could interview for more than one specialty. I was wondering if anyone got two interview slots for different specialties.

I am another one living on the wild side. I had thought I could interview for more than one specialty but they only chose for one of them. And I am eternally grateful. I am just praying to do well and be accepted. Being a Grady nurse is something everyone should be proud of. I really want to be a part of that.
