  1. When I emailed to let them know that I accepted an offer elsewhere...The recruiter responded by saying, "Thank you for the update, sorry to hear you will not be able to join our team. Please keep my contact information if anything changes or for future opportunities." I wouldn't worry so much about the email. Reach out to the Recruiter first thing Monday morning. The recruiters know, and will most likely cut to the chase when asked.
  2. I pray that it works out for everyone, but in the off chance that it doesn't...this does not define you! I went to 3 different interviews before I landed my dream job.
  3. I think everyone should hold tight. There are different hiring managers for each unit. Some units accept a greater number of residents than others and may need time to choose carefully. One email vs no email does not constitute not being chosen. It sounds positive for those who did receive emails. I couldn't imagine setting time aside to have a meeting that doesn't result in an offer. Those who didn't receive emails, could very well receive one by the beginning or middle of next week. I applied for L&D and I withdrew my application. Good luck to all!
  4. Not sure what to make of it, but I too emailed the recruiter letting her know that I decided to accept an offer with a different hospital system. I got the same "I'm sorry to hear you won't be joining our team" email. It also seems to be specialty oriented. Has anyone in Women's Services received an email?
  5. When you’re telling a story, but you forget the point you were trying to make ??‍♀️ #Comebackdowntoearth #acaseoftherambles
  6. Very much so. Just finished up! I’m so glad your interview went well ?
  7. I was looking forward to interviewing for more than one specialty, but I'm thankful to have been chosen to interview period. I am praying for the same...this is something I've dreamed of for quite some time. This is a very competitive market and some people aren't even getting a chance to interview with Grady. We are very blessed to be in this position.
  8. ?#livinglifedangerously Yes...Do not stress. They wouldn't waste time on interviewing someone they didn't believe in. Go into that interview and own it! You got this! Initially, they said that we could interview for more than one specialty. I was wondering if anyone got two interview slots for different specialties.
  9. That's so sweet of you! I just love the encouragement that I am seeing among this group! I have a question: Do any of you have more than one interview?
  10. Check the email for a link. I received 2 identical emails back to back. One with a link, and one without. I’m hoping you have the link by now, as well as everything else you need for tomorrow. Good luck and many blessings to us all!
  11. Got the email a few minutes ago!
  12. Do you have, or will you be graduating with a BSN?
  13. Did you apply for a specialty unit? I know that they are only interviewing on March 24th for specialty units. That may, or may not, be why you haven’t received anything yet. Also, you can email the recruiter of the residency program, and request that she update your email address: I would also take the time to express my interest in Grady once more before I hit send. I hope you hear something soon!
