Grady RN Residency - Summer 2020

Hi everyone! Is anyone else in the process of applying to Grady Memorial’s RN residency program that’s set to start this August?

I may be impatient (?!) but I applied a little over a week ago and have yet to hear back.

Has anyone heard anything back? Or for anyone who went through the process for Winter 2020, how long did it take you to hear back?

Hello all. I am interested in the Grady residency. I graduate in December. When you applied did you see it on career website ? When did the application open ? I’m out of state. TIA

Who else is coming to the TICU? And has anyone heard a word yet? Like where do we meet and what time? Maybe they’ll tell us Sunday LOL

mom new to this. I’m starting my residency at Grady tomorrow and I was wondering what to wear for the first day of orientation. Do I wear scrubs or formal attire. I’m so late ??‍♀️??

Hey there,

I received an email stating that orientation is virtual. I only go into get a COVID test done, which they provided me with a time for that so I’m not sure what to wear.

Thank you so much for the response. I got the email too and I guess it’s just the covid test. I’ll probably just be formal to be on the safe side.

Hello I know this forum is two years old but I saw this and was hoping you can offer some insight. I was offered a position but won't start until 8/1/2022. I haven't done any onboarding paperwork nor gotten the official offer letter. Could you share you experience with the hiring process.
