How did you find out about the block pay change? Do you know what it is for critical care now?

Yes I also got that same email. I responded asking when would we get the background checks done since the email said 7-10 business days and was told soon. I followed up with my Recriuter as well and still don't have anything. Is anyone going to the SICU.

So am I and I don’t have a offer letter either. I did however do my employee health stuff. I did get an email saying that I would get the offer letter soon but still nothing. Says background could take 7-10 days but seeing as thou we haven’t gotten the offer IDK if we will be cleared to start 8/1. I’ve been hired since April ?

Hello I know this forum is two years old but I saw this and was hoping you can offer some insight. I was offered a position but won't start until 8/1/2022. I haven't done any onboarding paperwork nor gotten the official offer letter. Could you share you experience with the hiring process.

Were you at the residency hiring event I've known I was hired since April of this year, and yes I spoke with her yesterday she said I would get an official offer this week or next week. I really don't understand this process at all.

It was delayed because of my NCLEX date, it wasn't going to be on time for the start date. I did do the health assessment but I haven't gotten the official offer letter or the background check yet.

OK so have you done anything for as far as onboarding. I was originally supposed to start 7/5 but my start date was pushed back. Now I'm nervous it may be pushed back again.

I don't know what DSC is, but both schools are about an hour and thirty minutes give or take. In the first semester of the program that I'm currently enrolled in we only have to go on campus one day per week then around November we start clinical. Given this cover thing has settled down. So that's why I was inquiring to see if GHC was similar to that in the first semester, and yea I'm just gonna stick it out. Thanks so much.

Thanks everyone for responding yea it's gonna be a drive for me either way, and plus I've already paid out of pocket for one Nursing course I'm taking during the Summer so I'm just gonna stick with the program. If I do so happen to get accepted I will keep you guys informed and I will decline the seat. Best of luck to everyone. You all got this!!!
