Okay lets get it started all who applied to GPC 2012 come on in.

We did receive Ipod touches if you wanted one. It has been great so far and I know my clinical instructor does not mind us using them on the floor. Also, someone mention something about the Davis drug book, DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy the book if you plan on having the ipod or if you have any smart phone because you will have an app call nursing central that you download from one of the schools computers and in that app you will get that book for free. Do not try to download at home because it will cost you $150.00. HTH

Oh gang I'm not sure if that iPod info pertains to the bridge program. The bridge program is a totally different animal then the traditional track.

Also, I would not plan on getting the IPOD from GPC in the Spring. Unless they get another technology grant. My class (Spring 2011) did not get them. However the Fall 2010 class got them. They had to turn them in at the beginning of this semester. I am guessing, that once they turned them in, they were then passed on to the Fall 2011 class.

Hey Adorable, the semester is going great. I am getting ready to wrap up Peds take the final and ATI next week and then on to OB. They are both half semester courses so they go fast! Good luck for the rest of the semester! And good luck to all of you!

Hi everyone, I am starting at GPC in Spring 2012. Any feedback from alums on how easy/hard it was to get a job upon graduation? Also, what does "PPD" mean (from the physical form)? i haven't bought my books yet, any input on which of the "suggested" books I should purchase? Thanks so much for any advice/information!

I'm not sure but I'm super excited!! We all know here how much work we have to put into this, it is NURSING school. Nothing will be given to us, we are going to have to work for it!

With that being said, we all can and will do this guys!:up:

Not sure if the spring is different than the fall, but we started clinicals like a month into the program if you are in group one, HTH!
