GPC Spring 2012

Published

Okay lets get it started all who applied to GPC 2012 come on in.

I did, I applied there and am in the process of applying to Chattahoochee Tech. for their spring admission. My gpa is around a 3.4 (4.0 in sciences) and my TEAS V score is and 86.7%..........now it's a waiting game......

Chattahoochee Tech I was looking to apply there but I think they wanted some computer class and I just don't feel like taking anymore classes. And GPC doesn't offer that class. My GPA is 3.4 with 3.13 in sciences. TEAS 77.

dito here! i applied to gwinnett, gpc, and chatt. i need to take teas for chattahoochee because i scored right at the national avg with gpc which was pretty low to me.

I havent taken the Teas yet. I'm schduled to take it June 23. I also applied to Darton's bridge program as well.

I'm taking the TEAS on the 22nd of June. Does anyone understand how the scores work? I mean what is proficient?? I have done the practice tests and am not real happy with my scores so I have got to study a lot!! GPA is 3.93 so I was surprised to do so poorly on the practice tests...

I think Proficent means you passed and did (average) but I could be worng.

I applied for Spring 2012. I have a 3.4 gpa and scored an 84% overall on the TEAS V. Good luck to everyone! Does anyone have an idea of when we would receive letters from GPC?

I just took the TEAS V last night and scored proficient, and my GPA is a 3.36 (3.5 science) I feel like im going to be right around the cut-off : / I really wanted to do better on TEAS V to make up for average GPA.

@metoyou: I just took the TEAS last night, too. I'm extremely worried bc I did horrible in A&P and made a C in the class and lab. I took the course during one summer and it was a bad summer for me. :( I have an overall gpa of 3.4, but am worried my A&P grade will be what gets me cut. I'm just praying and hoping it's in God's will for me. Anyone know anybody who has ever gotten in with a C in A&P? I know it's an impt class for a nursing major. :(

I want to reassure anyone planning to attend GPC and who may be apprehensive because of some negativity on this site. I have been working as an RN for over 15 years and the nurses who are GPC and DeKalb College graduates all had excellent clinical skills. You guys worked hard in school and you really really learned it well. Be proud.

I read on the board when I took the TEAS V last week that we would hear about our application status in three weeks....so now that would just be a little over two weeks
