GPC Fall 2013 letters
There are a great number of nursing scholarships available, and you will receive information about them, you can view them through the gpc.edu website (not the nursing area). Also, I don't know if they will do this again, but if they send a Kaiser-Permanente rep. to speak to you about the Kaiser Bridge Health Insurance.....if you don't have insurance LISTEN UP AND APPLY! They are not trying to sell you snake oil, the program works and they will provided you and your family with 95% subsidized cadillac kaiser insurance (no dental) if you qualify. Also, if there are any males about 6 feet tall I will set you up with some uniforms ( a bit pen marked up but virtually free, and good back-ups) If they don't make you buy the lab coat, don't I NEVER wore mine once. Enjoy your summer, work hard and save loot.

GPC Spring 2012
Well, we keep getting closer and closer....hope everyone is getting everything taken care of. Does anyone know if traditional track students are eligible to sit for the CNA exam after the first semester of school? I have heard/read that this is an option in some places/schools. Anyone have any info?

GPC Spring 2012
Greetings all, I also will be starting in January. Current students, I'm wondering what books from the suggested books list you've found to be helpful?? Are there any that are unnecessary, or just collect dust? Good luck to everyone, see you Dec. 15.

Georgia Perimeter College ADN Program??
Hello all, I am looking for someone to give me an honest review of the ADN program at Georgia Perimeter College. I have read/heard many, many horrible comments about the program there. Also, I understand that they were on the verge of loosing accreditation, and had to increase NCLEX pass numbers, and that their way of accomplishing that was to fail out everyone who might not pass. At any rate, I know that GPC's program was quite bad in mid 2000's, but who's there now? Has it improved? Are you teachers good/helpful? How many people are dropping from your class? Would you go there if you had it to do again? Just looking for some advice... Thanks
