GPC Spring 2012
My husband and I have decided that it may be better off if I hold off on nursing school for another year or so. As tough as a decision that was, I'm trusting that it's what is best for my family right now. I have bought all the uniforms and tools we needed and I dont think I can return them since its past the 30 days stated on the receipt. Is anyone looking to buy or does anyone have any idea of what i can do with them? I will probably not attend gpc in the future bc of the distance.

GPC Spring 2012
I am stressing. For numerous reasons, my chicken pox titer results will not be back until Thursday afternoon after orientation, so my medical form will not be complete. Also, I thought I had my Hope all squared away, but apparently I thought wrong. I don't qualify for a federal loan bc i dont have enough eligible hrs left and was denied a Sallie Mae loan. I am starting to think I won't be able to attend this Spring. Does anyone know if they will count it against me that my form is still incomplete? And does anyone know of any loans where credit is not an issue? Thanks!

GPC Spring 2012
Does anyone know when we will get our definite schedule for the first semester? I'm trying to figure out baby sitting. Or does anyone have an idea of when classes will be? Thanks!

GPC Spring 2012
I took my CPR class this past Saturday, and the instructor was a GPC nursing alumni. She reassured me that GPC is one of the best nursing programs in GA because people graduate from there ready to be in the workforce. It definitely is a challenging program, but the weak ones will be weeded out and the strong will remain standing in the end. I think it's extremely important for us to build a strong support system with one another. I would love for everyone who starts (me included) to be there in the end! Just purchased my uniform and tools today. Need to get a start on my books and my physical. My husband's insurance will kick in on Dec 1st since he just started a new job (Praise God!) so I'm waiting til the 1st to start everything. I know I won't get my Hep B done in time, but I'll just have to sign that waiver. Also, I live in Auburn, GA. Is there anyone in this area or close to this area that might want to carpool once classes start? I figured I'd ask and see if I could save a little gas. Can't wait to meet everyone on Dec 15th!! Happy Thanksgiving!

So has anyone started purchasing anything yet? I plan to do my drug test this Saturday. And my CPR class on Nov 12th. I'm still trying to locate my immunization records - which has been a nightmare!

GPC Spring 2012
Congrats all who got accepted. My letter must have come this weekend. As we were out of town til late last night, I wasnt able to check the mail til this morning. To my surprise, I found a big white enevelope drenched from all the rain. I am extremely excited, but also very anxious about the road ahead. Any alumni or students in the program now have tips for us?

Pre-Nursing @ GPC
Hi ladies. I have a quick question that I'm hoping one of you can help answer. I currently have a 3.4 gpa and made an 84 on the TEAS. I'm really worried because I made a C in A&P. Does anyone know if any student has ever gotten in with a C in A&P? :/
