What is a difficult decision you've made and how did you arrive to a solution?
Well, there was this one time at band camp. I had to decide if I should play the piccolo or the cello, so I chose both.
Did you play them both at the same time?
OP, I've plenty of hard decisions to make of my years. I'm not just about to divulge them all because you feel the need to be snarky and vague. How about you share a bit and I'll share a bit?
I turned down my dream job as a TB Nurse Consultant to reside in my home town with my family, where the job market was sub-optimal. I was able to get a job in med-surg in town, but my heart belongs to TB prevention & control. Thank God for family though; I really needed them at this point in my life.
One time, I had to choose whether to be cryptic and defensive on an Internet forum, or be open and transparent. It was a hard decision because while I knew in my heart how I should act, my bizarre personality made me lean to the alternative. I ultimately ended up going with cryptic and defensive, because that's how I best knew to make others warm up to me.
I was in a pet shop checking out cute kittens and puppies. It was a hard decision, I went with the little guy (puppy) who approached me, even though there was a barrier between us. This is a serious response. It was a difficult decision at the time. Now you can't even find cats or dogs in the local pet shops (I think they passed some kind of law).
Will you hire me for the job if I answer the way you want? What's the pay? How much vacation time will I get? Oh, and by the way I can't work any nights, weekends or holidays including my birthday even though I'm just starting, that's OK isn't it?
Seriously, random question??? I've only heard this in a job interview.

Maybe a little more context would make people more forthcoming?
