Getting to know one another

Ok I am in NW ohio. I am 35 and I have been an LPN for 5yrs now, all in LTC. First in geriatrics and now with MRDD. I have been married to the perfect man for 20 yrs in Jan. We have 2 boys the oldest is 19 and lives with his girlfriend and my grandson who is now 2and1/2 months old. My youngest is 16 and lives here at home he is physically and mentally handicapped but an angel none the less. Now for a recipe..........Simple pasta alfredo: Soften together 2TBS of butter with 1pkg cream cheese add 1/2c of parmesan cheese and enough milk to make it the consistency you prefer toss with cooked pasta. This and a simple salad and my family is happy. Who is next???

I am married with two bio kids/three stepkids. I have a huge beast of a dog, three cats and fish. ACtually I am to start in September as a head nurse at an inner city Columbus hospital. I am excited but a little nervous-alot of responsiblity. I love to sew but do not get alot of time for that...........

Renerian- Inner city Columbus hospital? Possibly Grant or OSU East? Just wondering. My first nursing job was at Grant, 8W in 1988 (dear God, was it that long ago??).

Hi Everyone.

My name is Florence, I am 50 years old and am a sophomore in nursing school. I have two grown children, 25 boy, and 23 female, my daughter has 2 children 4 and 3 yr olds. I do not work at a hospital now, did over 30 years ago when I was only an aide. Decided to go back to nursing school when laid off in 2002. Hi everyone...new to the board but love the idea of state boards.

I live near Cleveland and love it. Married for 23 years with three children: 22, 21, 17. My 21 year old daughter is in the Army and the other two are still at home.

Been an LPN for 25 rewarding years. Graduated from Central School of Practical Nursing (Cleveland).

Now that the 'little' ones are grown up Mommy is going back to school for RN and eventually Nurse Legal Consultant at Cuyahoga Community College.

Favorite TV show? lol .. Star Trek..all of them!
