Hi Everyone. I interviewed and was offered the ICU unit secretary position today starting @ $9/hr w/ .75 cent shift diff. I am only working part time on wkends for the extra money as I work through my ADN program. I am sad :o that I will work every Sunday though (7a-7p)-I love going to church, so I will have to find another service time during the week. Other than that, the job is perfect for me and I so need the $$. I think I will learn a lot about what nurses really do and how a hospital unit works. Anyway, just wanted to share. Thanks for listening! :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Amy, congratulations on landing your job!

I was hired today for 7P-7A (LPN) position on Sat and Sun. I didn't want to post as I was just hired on the 11-7 at another facility because I had not yet been accepted to RN clinical when I took the 11-7.

I too was concern that I would not get to go to church until my program is over as well. Since I am 7P-7A, I will get a chance to go, only if I don't go to sleep after returning form work on Sunday mornings...Lots Of Love.

Again, congratulations!

:balloons: doing the happy :balloons:

congrats to you 2 stephany

Yea for both of you! :balloons:

Believe me, I know how hard it is to make it to church after working the night shift...

and me, being the Pastor's wife, have a sort of "moral" obligation to show up! LOL!...I try to get to church, but if I don't make it, then I don't. But we have services on Tuesday evenings too...

I was recently blessed though. I found another job working in a LTCF on 2nd (2:30pm -11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. And I was also hired in as a nurse as soon as I get my license!

Try to get to church...it's very important to share with other believers in Christ, but don't wear yourself out. Go on Wednesday evenings if you have to . Most churches have services then, don't they?

Just do your best. God will honor that.

Best of all in your new jobs!

Julie

Happy Day, Congratulations!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW JOBS!!!!!!!!

Specializes in LDRP.

AWWWWWW! Thanks guys!

Smooches,

Amy :D

Congrats... I think the experience that you will gain will be soooooo worth it and help out in more ways than you think... I would highly recommend to anyone who is fixing to start nursing school in the fall or spring to try to get a job at a hospital... Doing anything will be great experience. I am working as a PCA (same as a CNA) and it has been great...

Congratulations on your new job!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes I have to miss out on church too and my church only offers 2 services during the week and they are both on Sunday mornings 1) at 730am and the second one at 1045am. God knows where your heart is at. So do the best you can. Fellowship as much as you can and on your own read your bible and praise god at home. Maybe you can find another Church that has other days and times that fit your schedule or get involved in a bible study group.

Oh happy day....

Ooohhh happy Day....

When you gottttt....

That Job today!!!!

Congrats!
