Rediculous "could you be a nurse?" quiz

Nurses General Nursing

Published

This quiz claims to be able to tell if you are suited for nursing.

I took the quiz. The answer analysis told me that nursing is perfect for me. Why? Because according to this quiz, nursing is a great career for people who crave "respect and working in a pleasant environment." It also states that nurses are free to "come and go as they please."

On top of that that nursing jobs won't be lost to foreigners like other jobs have been.

Oh, and did you know you can have a career in nursing with a highschool diploma? I didn't know that until I took the quiz!

Some nursing jobs in the U.S. are already being 'lost' to foreigners, as companies bring foreign nurses from poorer nations into America to work.

As we all know, nurses must deal with many unpleasant aspects within their work environment (read: poop, vomit, pus, mucus, phlegm, urine, blood) and grapple with the lack of respect from various entities.

Specializes in Jack of all trades, and still learning.

I trialled this survey, using my cat's potential answers.

She

  • loves time off
  • is curious about the sight of blood
  • is at her best when she is free to come and go as she pleases
  • a pleasant work environment is most important to her
  • she demands to be respected
  • she is under 16
  • she has too many obligations to change careers
  • she can't handle stress at home
  • she has no formal education
  • she'd love to do "something outdoorsy" if she had a few hours
  • she takes as much vacation time as she wants
  • she is female
  • On Sundays she doesn't think about tomorrow
  • she has an unpaid occupation (well that is the closest to her status!)
  • she loves to teach you what she knows - in fact you will learn it quickly or you're in trouble!

Of course, the quiz says she'd make a great nurse...

:uhoh3: I have a feeling whoever takes this quiz will make a great nurse according to the quiz. It seems geared toward that result...no matter what your answer there is the rationale that nursing is perfect for you. You don´t like blood? Plenty of nursing jobs that don´t require contact with the icky stuff...see perfect! (not saying that aversion to blood is an automatic deal breaker...)

It's a way to lure people into the University of Phoenix. Of course if I get my master's that's probably where I'll go.

Siri is right. My old high school had a vocation program where you could study PN while in high school, get your license and graduate as an LPN.

They are lying. I hit everything I like about NOT NURSING. They still want me to apply.
