I work 11p to 7a and I was wondering: do you guys get weekend differential for Friday night 11p - 7 (Saturday) am? How about Sunday 11p - Monday 7am? I'm all turned around and confused! I called my hospitals payroll department and the lady is out until Monday. I'm impatient :p and curious to see how it works elsewhere.

We get 10% for every hour after 6p weekdays, 10% every hour on Sat., and 15 % every hour Sunday pay.

Friday and Saturday is my weekend, diff pay is starting at 1900, my shift start time. Sunday is not considered weekend for me. It could be different for you, usually the weekend differential isn't enough to make a big difference. Mine is $1.oo....whoop-dee-doo...but night differential is $6/hr, it just really doesn't pay to work wknds here.

We get weekend diff from 7p Fri to 7a Sunday morning. No weekend diff for Sunday nights, only regular night diff.

My old hospital though paid weekend diff for Sunday nights..hopefully yours does too!

I hope mine is weekend diff for Sunday nights! I was originally hired for M-F 11p-7a. I agreed to move to S-Th 11p-7a because they needed it, and it felt more like a 'real' work week and a 'real' weekend.

The diff is kind of a big deal for me. Weekday night diff is $3.50 an hour, and Weekend night diff is $5.50 an hour. Not too much, but every bit counts while I'm trying to plan a wedding, buy a house, and pay off my student loans!

My weekends are Saturdy and Sunday night. I wish I got the nice differentials you are getting. My weeknight differential is about .40 more than the weekend one, and it's not as generous as yours :(.

At my hospital we get Night time differential after 11:00pm and weekend differential starts Saturday morning, I think.

I work 7p-7a. From 7-11 my differential is $4.50, from 11-7 its $4.00. From Friday 7pm til monday 7am I believe. the weekend differential is $8. I usually work Fri Sat Tues. So I get $12.00 extra on those friday sat nights

We get $10 shift diff for weekend. $3 after 3pm. I didn't realize our shift dif was so much better than some other places.

Weekend for my hospital (and every hospital I've worked for) is Friday and Saturday nights. Our weekend diff is $4/hr, on top of our night shift diff. which is $4.75.
