Hey Jenni! LaVorne here! I am thrilled for you as I graduated last May and the thrill ain't gone honey! I am 34(35 in July) married and no kids yet. We're working on it! Sounds like you are staying ahead of the game with your work options(ACLS) and traveling would be awesome. I have a friend from Alaska who just got a job in London and before that was offered one in New Zealand. I have another friend in Austrailia right now. The ER is a good place too cause ya see everything come in there! I've worked in the ER as a ER tech and it's a nice change from working the floor.
These boards are funny, educational, inspiring, thought provoking, and sometimes controversial. But I love it here. Hope you stick around for a long time. There are some wise folks here who are awesome support systems and give the best advice.

I'm Jenni, I just wanted to introduce myself because I can see myself spending some time here.
I will graduate with my ADN on June 13, 2003. I took ACLS at the end of March, and I passed. I didn't have to take it, but I was helping my mother study for her recert, and thought "what the heck, why not?"
Anyway, This has to be the best forum I've seen on the net!! Everyone seems knowledgable regarding their facilities policys and procedures.
I'm 27, single, and wanna either do travel nursing or work in my local ER after graduation. I also have a 3 year old son.
Thanks for listening, and after I get some experience under my belt, I hope I can post right along side you, instead of just thanking you all for your wisdom!
