new here, and new grad 6/03

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I'm Jenni, I just wanted to introduce myself because I can see myself spending some time here.

I will graduate with my ADN on June 13, 2003. I took ACLS at the end of March, and I passed. I didn't have to take it, but I was helping my mother study for her recert, and thought "what the heck, why not?"

Anyway, This has to be the best forum I've seen on the net!! Everyone seems knowledgable regarding their facilities policys and procedures.

I'm 27, single, and wanna either do travel nursing or work in my local ER after graduation. I also have a 3 year old son.

Thanks for listening, and after I get some experience under my belt, I hope I can post right along side you, instead of just thanking you all for your wisdom!

Welcome Jenni ! :)

I, too, am a "new nurse"... graduated in Dec. and completed my NCLEX 6 weeks ago. Still feeling the glow. I work in hemodialysis.. have been there 6 years now, but only now as a nurse.

I came to the board a little over a year ago, while I was still studying.. and found it to be most helpful in more ways than one.

Again, welcome, and looking forward to hearing more from you !

Hiyas Jenni and welcome :)
