I heard of a weight loss drug once... noacetol...(pronounce it numerous times) :D

Specializes in PACU, OR.

I've also heard Mycoxafailin, plus some others which, sadly, I can't remember.... Something to do with aged people with perky boobs and great erections and absolutely no idea what to do with them....

Sometimes patients make up their own drug combos. I had a patient who asked for a Loralax every morning. Loralax=Lortab plus Laxative. I need to market that. Kill two birds with one stone....

Specializes in NICU.

In that case I'd like a case of Zofralax. I'm on zofran for hyperemesis gravidarum. It keeps things from coming out of both ends, unfortuanatly! too bad I'm not supposed to take any laxatives while pregnant....sigh.

When we have repeat drug seekers come in, we joke and say to give them some Norsaline, and save the better drugs for people who need them.

Norsaline = normal saline

We never really do it of coorifice.

OMG norsaline!!!! Why didn't I think of that one. Could have really used it on my dilaudid seeker the other day.

If you ain't got any Norsaline, try obecalp...:D

NOTE: I've never actually done that although a Hospitalist and I jokingly(or was he?) discussed it once...
