Hi, just wanted to vent first. I am trying to transfer my license to Ga. Every time I call them with a question, I am put on hold from 30min to an hour. I'm trying to get my questions organized so I don't need to call them back but Grrrrr.... Just had a few more questions and have been on hold for 50 minutes so far.
My question... If my current state participates in Nursys do I need to send that paperwork to my state that they require (proving you are licensed... Sending it to the state where you are licensed)? Should I turn my application in before I register for the website to get fingerprinted? The lady u talked with at cogentin or whatever it's called said usually you get your app in first bc fingerprints only last for 30 days. What else should I print with my application? Marriage license? I recently got married. Nursing license, social security card, and drivers license. This is a big head ache. Thanks for your help.
I am trying to endorse my license from Texas but I just got an email stating 1) that my transcripts do not reflect a graduation date nor the type of degree I received. Well, I'm a diploma student so I didn't get a "degree". Also, my fingerprints were rejected (I figured they would be because my cousin's were rejected twice and she warned me that they would probably be rejected. I have 2 more sets to send so I'm going to send them both but I'm wondering if I have to pay the $60 fee to Cogent AGAIN.
Hello everyone, I'm new here and trying to endorse to Georgia hopefully someone can help. I am about to get my fingerprints done in my state and don't know how to fill out the card. Are there directions for this available somewhere. The Georgia Board just sent me the fingerprint cards with no instructions. Also where do I mail it in? To the boards or to GAPS. Any help would be really appreciated.
Did you look on the BON website? There are instructions linked from their applications and forms page: Download Forms
The instructions are step-by-step. Good luck!
I just got my GA license endorsement today. I felt it was tedious but fairly quick process (less than 2 weeks).
Make sure your register on GAPS website first then go for fingerprinting. Write the registration number on the back of the card, then mail the fingerprint card and your receipt to GAPS in Ohio. Good luck!!!

I called to GA BoN and someone answer me my call straight. She said it takes about 25-30 day but if your documents all complete w/o missing document, it's possible may even take 2 week .. I spoke w registrar office today and they told me that I can get my transcript mid January. My orientation start jan 26 but they will allow me some time till get my license w a lower salary :/
