Full Moon Friday the 13th

Published

My condolences to those who have to work this Friday night. I never used to believe in such nonsense, until I worked night shift for many years. Be sure to post your stories here too! :)

I'm working night shift. Can't wait...

Crap! I have got to pay more attention to this stuff when filling out my schedule. Of course I'm working that night!

one of the orientees at my job, it is her first shift on her own.... at least it is days...

A full moon has absolutely zero effect on whether a shift will be good or not.

It's nothing but a superstition.

Nope, all the nuts call the help line and then come in and have their babies!

I had my second child (5 days past his due date, and a huge, very strong, very active fetus) on a Friday the 13th. You've never met anybody so glad not to be pregnant anymore. I've always considered it a lucky day since then. :)

I worked today. The sun was shining bright but it may as well have been the full moon for all the crazy stuff that happened!

Worked last night...galas to dodge the bullet. ;)

Well, my Friday the 13th hasn't started out too good. I was supposed to work tonight but had to call out sick. I'm not the superstitious type but considering we're at full capacity I'm glad I'm dodging a possible bullet tonight.

WOOOHOO!!! I got lucky and got called off for low census today:)

Hope everyone is having a good night! ? Don't forget to post stories.

One o'clock in the afternoon and this guy is on a busy road stopping cars begging for money or something. I got past him, looked in my rear view mirror to see him begging at an ambulance driver.
