I made an egregious error in judgement and forged my ACLS, my employer found out and fired me. I have since taken the ACLS course. If my wmployer repoets me to the board can I lose my medical license?

Error in judgement? No, this is blatant willful forgery.

You are a nurse but refer to your license as a "medical" license?

Why did you do this? You will have to be ready to explain that to the Board and/or your next employer.

Suggest you speak to a lawyer familiar with nursing licensing issues, you can find one through the American association of nurse attorneys. Also, if it makes you feel any better, it seems like you are not the only nurse who has done this, if you use the search tool in the top right hand corner you can find past threads in which other nurses have done the same thing you did. I don't know how things turned out for them license wise, but a nurse attorney will likely have a good idea.

Do you have a medical license or a nursing license?

The Acls course is only a couple hundred dollars... I'm curious why you would forge your Acls certificate opposed to just doing the course?
I'd be very surprised if the the op is a physician, as most would know that this is a situation in which they need to seek legal advice, I think 'lawyer up and shut up' is a part of medical school's core curriculum.

You do understand the consequence of your action, right? You came to a nursing board site to discuss forgery as if it were some casual occurrence we all have experience with. I would HIGHLY recommend discussing this with a lawyer. You'll likely need to explain yourself to the board at the very least.
I personally don't think that this will rise to Board level. It was not a patient care issue.
