Forged ACLS and possible suspension of license?

I made an egregious error in judgement and forged my ACLS, my employer found out and fired me. I have since taken the ACLS course. If my wmployer repoets me to the board can I lose my medical license?

I personally don't think that this will rise to Board level. It was not a patient care issue.

Idk, even though the OP didn't forge a document that was submitted directly to the BON, one could certainly argue that ACLS falsification is a huge patient safety issue (which is definitely within the scope of the BON).

Agree with PPs, an attorney who specializes in nursing practice (or whatever your specialty) will be better equipped to help you than anyone on this site.

Folks- The OP is not real.

Many of the posts on this forum are trolls. The good ones are clever and engaging, like some kind of new twist on nurses eating their young by a first time poster.

This one is just ridiculous.

OP- I call BS. You blew it with "medical license". I have never heard a nurse think they have a medical license. See you on your next troll with a new screen name.

An infraction at best would be my guess. The lesson, hopefully learned without a suspension. Hospitals typically say if no ACLS you cannot work so

with that pressure the issue is timing. Her ability had not changed during her time with patients
