I just turned in three of my four applications :uhoh3:, and I'm already sweating bullets! Just thought I would start a support thread for those of us impatiently awaiting results for the Spring of 2008.

congrats everyone.....im still "sweating bullets"....i turned my application in like the first week it was available so i have been waiting for almost 4 months now!!! my cousin was evil on april fools she texted me and told me that some of her friends had got theirs the day before and i must of not gotten in since i didnt get mine yet....but she was just trickin me...i was so mad because she knows that i have been desperately waitn

I vote for revenge, too. That was evil! I get so mad every time I get some stupid piece of nonessential snail or email from the college (about orientations or open house or tooting their own horn about how fabulous they are, or reminders to turn in financial aid or see their on campus housing - ugh) every envelope feels like a dirty trick, I can only imagine how it would feel to have someone intentionally pull a prank! Get her back somehow!

I put in my app the first week I could, as well, it has been 6 months now. I still have another 6 or 7 weeks to go. Even though I knew I would be waiting and shouldn't expect an answer until late May, once I finished my TEAS the wait became unbearable. I have never been so impatient in my life.

My school sends out emails instead of letters, and they are supposed to go out sometime the week of April 24th. There is a window of like 4 days, and I doubt you will be able to pry me away from my computer. I will more than likely check my email every 3 minutes for the entire time.

It's been five months for me. I've gotten to know my mail man very well. He knows all about letter, school, etc... I never noticed how many letters arrive in big white envelopes before. LOL Oh well, the days pass by............

yeah, we can't do much more than wait. it just seems like (at least for me) all we do is wait..wait... wait... then we have to wait a little more. UGH!!!!!! I am hoping today will be the day for GOOD news! I have my fingers crossed! The wait is KILLINNNNNNG me. come on all ready, how much longer do we have to wait to find out our fate. come on, come on, come on! I feel like I am waiting for Christmas morn and I am a kid.

Anyways.. good luck, and thanks all for listening to me complain! ;) It's nice to have a place to discuss, vent, and just be amongst people who are going through the same thing as me.

Just wanted to let all the SC4 pre nursing students that i just called the nursing dept and they said letters would be going out this week! Just a few days longer. I thought for sure today would have been the day. But, they said that it would be this week. I tried asking if she could tell me, and she said no. I did'nt think she would be able to but, i thought while i had here on the phone... lol. Anyway, i wanted to share with all of you.

well i found out today that im goin to have to wait alot longer than i thought the lady from adn said that it would be a least another three weeks and it could be even closer to JUNE....before letters were sent....i dont know it i can make it :banghead:

I know how you feel. The school I applied to has once again moved the date back for letters to be mailed out. First I was told January. Then it was early March at the latest. April 15th was the next date. Today, I was told that we would get calls before April 28th or early May. This is so ridiculous! I have decided to regester for classes for the Fall as well as the Summer I & II sessions, just in case. I think it stinks that they make people wait like this. Oh well, their holding all the cards, aren't they? I've been waiting since September!

I have been jumping through hoops for my school in order to get accepted. Apparently you must not only have an excellent GPA, TEAS score, and all your pre-req's, but you must also plow through the unorganized departments in order to get YOUR things in order. I think I should get a part time job as an admin there or at least a secretary. I would probably save many students the undesirable and unnecessary stress. I am still waiting for my acceptance! Over all the application process has felt much like beating my head on wall.:banghead:. However, I am optimistic!:D

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I think the application process is what makes or breaks ya, no the actual program! Let's just hang in there.!
