I just turned in three of my four applications :uhoh3:, and I'm already sweating bullets! Just thought I would start a support thread for those of us impatiently awaiting results for the Spring of 2008.

Congrats everyone! Im still waiting as well...checking my email 50 times a day for updates...and I won't find out for a while....as long as we stay positive everything will work out!

Is there anyone out there that has applied to nursing schools in Houston for Fall 2008?

I just got letter from HBU telling me GPA wasn't high enough. I'm still waiting to here from TWU and UT. I am retaking two classes to boost my GPA up. Presently I have 3.475 but I'm afraid that might not be high enough. Hopefully after this semester it will be around 3.7 so I have a better chance of getting in.

Yea! I'm also applying to Houston colleges! I applied to UT, TWU, HCC & NHC. I heard that for UT you need an interview to know that they are EVEN considering you! Which is what's driving me crazy! B/C I haven't received one yet! Your GPA is better than mine, though, I have right now a 3.378, and well this semester doesn't count for the applications, unless I have to re-apply in August! GOOD LUCK!

I just sent an email to my counselor at the university I applied to (University of Missouri-St. Louis) about when we'd get our letters regarding admission to the program, and she told me that I'll be receiving an ACCEPTANCE LETTER!! WOOHOOO! :) :)

I got my letter yesterday...

and...

I GOT IN!!!!! Whoo-hooo! I was so excited that I just wanted to scream!! I almost couldn't believe it!! It is not my first choice, but I am still thrilled!!!
