Hi, anyone want to brag a bit? After all, I think we deserve it.
I thought it would be fun to share some of our victories and things we think we should be patted on the back for.
Here's mine....I passed my first skills test this week and got a 100 on our first quiz in Fundamentals which I am soooo proud of because, as everyone knows, nursing tests are different than any other tests, you have to learn to think differently. You have to learn to think like a nurse, and WOOHOO, I DID IT!
I'm a month into my 1st semester of my ADN program. I got a 95% on my first fundamentals exam (darn near the highest score with a class average of 79%!) ) and I got a 100% on my dosage calculations test (not THAT special, 90% was passing, but still!) I feel great and I only want to strive for better! Woohoo!
I made an 88% on my second Fundamentals test!!! Can you smell the victory...Now people are asking me how to study-yay!
Great job! I made the mistake of telling people my grades and now everyone wants me to tutor them. I don't have time for any of that! I have no life that's why I do well! :) now I'm just gonna tell people "I studied my butt off and the grade I received reflects that"

I know...a few people have asked me and I told them....their response-I'll make flashcards...flashcards don't help me. Actually I'm going to stop telling people my grade-we don't have a very good mix of people and half of our class is hoping the other half flunks out. So I feel happy

I graduate one week from today! Most likely it will be Magna Cum Laude.
Holla!
