Most of us, most of the time, love being nurses. Secretly...if money wasn't really an issue...and you did need to work somewhere doing something...what "do you want to be when you grow up?"

If money was no object, I'd actually want to be an administrative assistant - someone's secretary! Answering phones, greeting people, stuff like that...crazy, I know.

What about you?

I love forensic science...so that orrr a medical examiner...when I was younger I wanted to work in a funeral home doing embalming

Hmm (and I do all of these in some capacity as an amateur)

1) farmer (I think I'd raise flowers, goat milk and duck eggs for market, and have veggies and fruits for myself)

2) professional triathlete

3) leatherworker (repair saddles and other tack all darn day)

4) women's cycling apparel designer (mainly because if I see one more cutesie pink or baby blue top for my only options,

I could rage for days)

When I was in college, I knew a few Meteorology majors-I had a fleeting desire to change to that from Nursing. Not because I wanted to be a "weather girl". Nope, true Midwesterner that I am, I wanted to be a storm chaser lol. ⚡️������

No life long student here. I really didn't like sitting in lecture for hours.

Anywho....I do know what you mean wanting to be a Admin. Asst. I was one pre-nursing...MANY moons ago. haha

I think, if I could go back and do it again, I would have been an RT (Respiratory Therapist). But my dream job would be a photographer, IF I made money at it.

I just took boards, so I haven't experienced being a nurse yet, but I'm excited!!!

Other things I would like to do:

Professional organizer - I would LOVE to organize for people. Whether that's designing closets, rearranging things to fit better, labeling things, color coding, etc. It's like real life Tetris!! The possibilities are endless!

Photographer - I don't have much experience, but I am ALWAYS taking pictures! I love capturing and remembering moments.

Stay at home mom or pet owner - I don't have kids or pets yet, but I would love to stay at home and hang with my kids or pets! I want puppies, but I also think it would be really cool to own a pig or goat.

Dog walker - This would be cool too! Also getting exercise in.

Zumba or cardio kickboxing instructor (or continuously take classes everyday) - These are my 2 favorite forms of exercise!! I have so much fun and I got really fit when I was able to take them every day when I had a semester off before nursing school. Sadly, I haven't been able to participate since nursing school.

Lobby for healthcare and mental health - This would be really cool, but I most definitely couldn't do public speeches or anything. But it would be awesome to have lots of time to do research and talk to politicians about issues, need, etc.
