subscribe to this thread if you are a february '09 test taker. i want to send out support to those of you studying and cannot wait until your test date! especially if you are like me studying daily and working with other new grads whom have already taken his/her exam and passed.
how is your studying going? what are you using?
i am following suzanne's plan and have been diligent thus far. btw, i work full-time as a new grad and am attending a rn-bsn program. i have no life but it will be worth it to pass the nclex!
No disrespect at all,But im just saying- also think about it, the questions is, Would Pearson vue let you pay $200 dollars for a Nclex PN exam that you already passed?
If you read Suzanne's answers in post 20 it may make more sense https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/nclexpn-results-california-354607-page3.html#post3422148
I just took my test today. I had NO math, 3 meds and of course there was one that I had never heard of maybe like two on lab values and a couple of disease process questions. The rest were delegation, who would you see first and staffing issues, diaster/triage questions. It cut off at 75 and I was like Whaaaaa??? I was there for an 1 hour and 20 minutes. I just knew that I would be in there the whole time. I was like wow my fate determined in an hour and 20 minutes with SEVENTY-FIVE questions!!!!!!! But I did a lot of praying and had people praying for me, my mother actually took off from work and prayed the whole time I was there for me and if I could not figure out an answer I would just pray and my thinking became clear. I will find out Tuesday.
Took my boards today (PN). Shut off at 85 questions. I walked out of there feeling self confident and happy it was all over. I had questions all over the place. I had mental health, peds, maternity, drugs, priority, delegation and a few SATAs. The test took me almost two hours and after 20 questions the questions were getting harder and harder. Actually I think I burned through my good hotel breakfast pretty fast looking through my mental file cabinets *LOL*
I'd be really surprised if I flunked. The proctor said go with that feeling. Most girls walk out freaked out about the test
And finally, I've confirmed my test schedule for the last week of Feb. and its only a few days to go!!!! Oh gosh, I feel terribly anxious!!!

Good luck to alll of us who'll be taking the exam soon & congrats to those who have passed already!!!

Learn from my mistake RE: Kaplan. I got OK scores, like you, but I knew I had weak subject areas. My instructor said to just do the questions. So I did all the questions and the Q trainers. However, I did not feel confident at all and I let my boyfriend talk me into taking it anyway when I wanted to reschedule. I would have felt better if I had spent more time reviewing content and less time doing the questions. So, pay attention to your weak areas and look at Saunders to review. Of course, I still could have passed but looking around at the posts here and the content questions I got, I'm 99% sure I failed. I'm OK with it. I really want to review my weak areas anyway.
Hello everyone!!! I took the Nclex RN exam yesterday morning and feel I did not make it. I stopped after #79 on possibly a Recall/comprehension type question. As I realize this may be an indicator of my performance on the exam. I wish those who have just taken the exam and are awaiting the results the very best and to those who will be taking it soon as well. I'm a nervous wreck right now and I'm sure it is normal to feel this way as others have expressed concerns. Anyway I will just try to remain positive and keep my head up. It's not the end of the world pass or fail. All I can do is let it go and move on. This site is so helpful and I will plan on using it more often.
Hello everyone,I am taking my nclex rn this week and need all the prayers i can get, This is my 2nd time taking it and my 2nd time changing the date. I will not change the date anymore because the longer i wait, and the more i run away from it, the more i will forget.I want to get it out the way and with the support from my friends and family and you all, I know I will succeed and be one of the best R.N's in the world due the grace of GOD. Thank you so much for everyones support. I really hope i pass
