subscribe to this thread if you are a february '09 test taker. i want to send out support to those of you studying and cannot wait until your test date! especially if you are like me studying daily and working with other new grads whom have already taken his/her exam and passed.
how is your studying going? what are you using?
i am following suzanne's plan and have been diligent thus far. btw, i work full-time as a new grad and am attending a rn-bsn program. i have no life but it will be worth it to pass the nclex!
I just found out this morning that I passed NCLEX-RN. Boy it has been the longest 48 hours of my life. I am sleep deprived and hungry because I could not eat anything.
Two tips for those that are taking the test. If you don't have a lot of time then use Hurst. If you do have some time then do Suzanne's plan. I did both because I was paranoid and both plans are great. Oh and another tip prayer works. Because believe me I prayed all throughout that test.
But I would say that I would go with Suzanne's plan over Hurst because of the money factor. My job paid for Hurst but hey Suzanne's plan is free and she is not making a profit from it. It is a blessing that she took the time to come up with a plan like this that works and has a high pass rate for those that follow it exactly as written so I would say use it!!!!!! Oh and did I mention it is free????? And it works??????? And it has a high pass rate?????
Thanks. And thanks Suzanne for your plan!!!!! I am going to tell the 2 new GN's on my floor about it. Oh and I forgot to mention a friend of mine took the test right before I did and she passed using Suzanne's plan. I told her about it when we graduated from school.

is it just me or was january a long and excruciating month??! this month is going by so fast it feels like march is just around the coner. maybe it is because this is the month i take the nclex??

I take it for the first time on Wednesday the 11th. It didn't occur to me that that means I'll find out my results on Friday the 13th! Here's to hoping it's my lucky number. I'm very nervous and get major test anxiety. Ahh!
I take mine the same day. I hope Friday the 13th is lucky for me too!!!! AHHH Im soo nervous!!!! I did all of my Kaplan.....I am getting over 65% on the trainers 5/6..Ill take 7 tomorrow. My qbank score is 60%...I started getting between 60 and 70 towards the end.
I feel confident and ready..........yet worried and anxious! What can I do the last 2 days to prep anymore than I have!!??

I cant sleep cause i slept most of the day and prayed. I looked over some lab values, about 100 questions,and some kaplan video content.I feel like i know nothing, but hopefully as im taking the exam,i will remember what ive worked hard for.Being an RN is where my heart it and has been for many years.I hope I pass.Oh,Im sorry, I will rephrase. I WILL PASS

thank you so much. i did my friends strategy and took my RN keychain with me, and kept writing RN and my signature on the whiteboard at the top when i took my exam today. I didnt look at the timer or how many questions i did at all, it distracts. Im assuming i stopped at 75 because I was only in there for an hour and half. I dont know how i feel or remember my last question,I only remember my first and a couple of others that were kind of easy..Gosh, I pray that i pass.I will soon know in 36 hours.God bless

NCLEX-RN, stopped @ 75 and passed, first try! :)
