FCCJ Fall 2008

Published

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

Thank you bossladii I need all I can get it

I guess I may have met some of you guys today getting my fingerprints done. I definately feel better knowing I'm not the only one that is overwhelmed right now. I was in a panic when I opened my packet and saw the list of things we have to get done. :uhoh3:

Looks like some of you guys are in the southside area. I'm about 5 mins from the beach and would definitely meet up for study groups.

Congrats to everyone! Looking forward getting to know everyone.

Hey girl!!! I got lucky. I got there at 9:50 and got to leave at 10:45. It was getting crowded in there. When did you get there?? We probably saw each other and didn't even know it. lol.

I got there @ 1030.

I was the loud one talking to the blonde woman behind everyone getting printed! lol:yeah:

A year? I'll give it a week! LOL

My aren't we cynical?

My aren't we cynical?

Cynical? ...no... realistic? yes! Look back at the thread for Summer 2008. The last post from one of the people that got in was the day before the semester started. Nothing since. We're all too busy and you will be too. Not to mention we all see eachother in class, we don't need to post.

I called my OB/GYN today to see if they could give me any copies of my labs from when I was pregnant. They told me they could give me a copy-machine copy of the lab report, but not the actual lab report. I'm upset because I just knew that I would be saving some coins!

***btw...I spoke to Ms. P____ in the nursing office (the one who handles health documents) and she said that as long as we have positive titers we could use them, no matter the year (ex: 2006). So if this helps anybody cut costs... I believe it has to be the "actual" lab report...not a copy. But I haven't been able to get back in touch with her to see if it's okay to have the copy.

I thought we were supposed to submit copies not the original lab report. Let me know what you find out because I thought copies were OK.
