Fall Semester 2012

Published

Just finished summer session so I thought I would post for the Fall semester and find out what everyone is taking. My schedule is Intermediate Algebra, English, and Spanish 101. Good luck to all that are taking classes this semester. Fight hard for those A's!!

by the way i'm taking intermediate math, health and nutirtion, and a&p 2 lab. i'm trying to fit in health career core class as well. god bless us all.:nurse:

Good luck everyone!

I'm taking a remedial math, intro to psychology, intro to ethics, computer literacy, and an art class.

I'm taking micro with lab, nutrition and human development. I'm nervous about microbiology since I hear a lot of mixed opinions about it. Some say it's easy, others say it was the hardest prereq. Here's hoping that I can do all this while working FT!

Good luck everyone!

I too have heard mixed opinions about it which is a little nerve racking, but I think with faith and hard work we can do anything!!! With that said..... YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Specializes in Med-Surg.

Finishing off my pre-reqs this fall. I'll be taking A&P II, English, Developmental Psych. and getting my CPR cert.

I'm so excited! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. :)

Specializes in Inpatient Obstetrics.

i will be taking Pharmacology this Fall

I just registered to this site and this will be my first comment :)

I have a B.A. in Psych and I want to go back to school for nursing b/c I can't seem to get a job and I know nursing is always in demand.

I have 22 hours worth of prerequisites to do and this fall will be my first semester back in school after 2 years.

I'm not fully registered for everything yet, but for now I'm taking A&P1 and either Nutrition or Human Growth & Development. I don't know if I can manage anymore than 2 classes because I am hoping that I can get a job soon! I've been really depressed about my lack of success and going back to school for nursing is giving me an ounce of hope.

Microbiology with the lab, Anatomy & Physiology I with the lab, Human Nutrition and a 300-level language course...i'm uber excited :)

I'm taking Intermediate Algebra and Interpersonal Communications online and Chemistry 101 on campus. This is the most credits I'll have taken at once so far so should be interesting considering I'm a mother of 3 (married) and work 32 hours a week!

Spring 2013 I'm planning on taking Dev. Psych and Anatomy, as well as my Nursing Assistant course, and the 1 credit Med Term class online. Then for Summer and/or Fall (hadn't planned on doing any more summer classes after the intensity of taking two classes this past summer!) I'll just have Physiology and Microbiology left for pre-reqs... not sure if I want to take them both at the same time, but they are both probably too intense for short summer semester! ha!

I am applying to the nursing program in the spring, and am VERY excited to HOPEFULLY start spring of 2014! I'll have the maximum number of points if I can manage an A in the rest of the point earning classes which are Communications, Dev. Psych and Anatomy... I already earned an A and 4 points in English (College Comp I) so I'm 1/4 of the way there! LOL

Good luck everyone!

Congrats and good luck to everyone this semester!

I just finished my Composition 1 intersession class yesterday (got an A) and have my orientation for CNA tomorrow. My first day of the "actual" semester starts on Monday. Here's what I'm taking for the fall semester:

Composition and Analysis: Wednesdays

Basic Nurse Assistant Training: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays

Biology: Monday and Wednesdays

Psychology: Thursdays

Will be applying for the RN program in February and if accepted, will start the nursing program next fall.

Chemistry and Spanish and submitting two applications to nursing school!!

Good luck everyone !!

Intro to Biochem (with lab), Psych 1010, Eng 1020, and Intermediate algebra. I'm hoping to take a nurse aide class sometime in november. It'll be weekends only. I have math M/W and Biochem Fridays...the other two are online. Hope I can pull through.
