  1. I'm taking micro with lab, nutrition and human development. I'm nervous about microbiology since I hear a lot of mixed opinions about it. Some say it's easy, others say it was the hardest prereq. Here's hoping that I can do all this while working FT! Good luck everyone!
  2. OK, I know this is a personal decision, but I'm looking to hear others' stories in regards to their experience. I'm 23 and I just decided that I really want to be a nurse. I should finish my prereqs by summer of 2013, and HOPEFULLY I can get into the nursing program by the fall. I know how hard it is to get into the programs, but I've never been one to think about the failure part of the situation. But there's that chance that I might have to wait.. My husband is 34 and in no hurry to have a baby, but we know we want to. We both think it will be best to wait 2 and a half years until I finish nursing school (if i get in right away) How hard is it really to manage nursing school, a part time job, being a wife AND a newborn? I'd love to hear your advice.
  3. I'm going through the same dilemma. I want to be able to take APII & micro in the fall along with nutrition.I'm having a really hard time at the moment taking AP I in the summer, so I'm going to wait and see how I do to make the final decision. My professor is not very good though, so that's my problem.. I just had my first test and I will be changing my study habits. I read the book and make flash cards of everything as I go. I was previously recording the professor's lecture and it wasn't working for me because of his teaching nothing would stick, it just didn't work for me. I'm doing much better so far with the flash cards.
  4. Are you volunteering at Bethesda by any chance?
