Fall 2012 new nursing students roll call!!!

How many of you are there? What's next for you? I've just registered for classes. We only have one set of clinicals in the first semester. It's adult care 1. Other than that we have assessment and fundamentals. I need to get my physical and get tested to see if I still have immunity from previous vaccines. If not, I get to be a pin cushion for a little while :) Other than that, I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for school now that I'm taking on twice the tuition bill transferring to a university. I'm applying to two hospitals to see if I can get in their scholarship and service programs. This is a super busy month!

Hi! I am new here. I am in the process of applying to covenant. May I ask you what your GPA was and teas v score? I have a 3.6 and I made a 75.3 on the test. Thanks! And congrats.

I got accepted April 2nd to Covenant School of Nursing in Lubbock, TX. I have to meet with student health and become a human pin cushion. I still have to take A&P II in the Summer I semester and will begin August 8th. Congrats to everyone who are beginning this journey and I wish you the best!!!

I finished my BS in May and am working on a critical care unit now. It's kicking my butt but I love it!

Graduated in May. Took NCLEX July 1. License just came up yesterday. Still no job. 2 interviews first week of August!!

Graduated June 5th haven't scheduled my nclex yet but I'm working as a tech in a LTC/Sub Acute facility and they will probably bring me on as a RN after I pass my test!!! (God willing)....congrats you all!!!

Graduated June 11, pinned on June 12th. Got married, went on honeynoon and now time for the NCLEX Aug 6th! Had a job offfer before graduation and I'm in California so best advice, keep your eyes open before the sun rises (get it?) :)) best wishes!

I've graduated my ADN program and passed the NCLEX! I'm now working on a med-surg floor and will be picking up shifts with Ped's Home Health. I'll be continuing on to my BSN in a few weeks.
