Fall 2012 new nursing students roll call!!!

How many of you are there? What's next for you? I've just registered for classes. We only have one set of clinicals in the first semester. It's adult care 1. Other than that we have assessment and fundamentals. I need to get my physical and get tested to see if I still have immunity from previous vaccines. If not, I get to be a pin cushion for a little while :) Other than that, I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for school now that I'm taking on twice the tuition bill transferring to a university. I'm applying to two hospitals to see if I can get in their scholarship and service programs. This is a super busy month!

Yeah buddy! South Ga Tech Practical Nursing student! Summer semester PASSED with diet & nutrition & dosage calculations! Aug 16th fundamentals(1st 8 wks) & med surge 1(2nd 8 wks) AUG 2013 HERE I COME! Moving on up the ladder! I wont stop until i get that RN behind my name! Congrats 2 EVERYBODY!

Just curious, were you all allowed to use a calculator? We aren't :(

@CBLNurse2B yes we were allowed to use calculators the whole semester. Im a avg math person so if we couldnt use them id b ok w/that b/c 1 math class i took the teacher didnt allow calculators b/c he sd he wanted us 2 do it the old fashion way.

I got my acceptance letter back in May and we did orientation July 2nd. I already got all my required stuff done physical, background check, drug screen, and shot records. My classes start August 20th, am so excited!! Am a little nervous I have to small children and will be working part-time. I will have to learn good time management! :w00t:

I start in 19 days, yeah!! :bugeyes: I have been so anxious to get started. 2 1/2 days a week including the clinical, can't wait.

I got accept to ITT TECH ASN program(also called Breckingridgre School Of Nursing) in Canton, MI. I don't start until Sept 17th and I am so EXCITED!!!!

I'm going to a christ hospital school of nursing first year student for fall 2012 and I'm too excited...just very hopefull I do well and get through my first semester in one piece.

Congratulations, all! I am beginning the ADN program at Ohio University Chillicothe (in the Berger Cohort) on August 27th. This is such an exciting opportunity, and I am really looking forward to getting started!

I start my 4 year RN program in 16 days, and i got little to no information as to whats going on. I am *patiently* waiting or my list of textbooks.... I cannot wait to get started and at the same time i am terrified

I start Sept 24 2012! Super excited. I know it will be hard work, and exhausting, but in the end it'll be well worth it! Congrats to you all!
