Fall 2012 new nursing students roll call!!!

How many of you are there? What's next for you? I've just registered for classes. We only have one set of clinicals in the first semester. It's adult care 1. Other than that we have assessment and fundamentals. I need to get my physical and get tested to see if I still have immunity from previous vaccines. If not, I get to be a pin cushion for a little while :) Other than that, I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for school now that I'm taking on twice the tuition bill transferring to a university. I'm applying to two hospitals to see if I can get in their scholarship and service programs. This is a super busy month!

Orientation 8/14 and first day of classes is 8/21!!! Super duper excited and very nervous. Still have to get my immunization, order books, order uniform and a bunch of other stuff...

My orientation is Aug. 1 and I begin classes August 13th! I am extremely excited but nervous at the same time... I also have to work full-time during school so I hope it isn't too overwhelming!!

Well I'm in an undergrad BSN program so I've been in college for the past 2 years, but I start the real nitty gritty nursing classes and clinical this fall, so I'm kinda feeling like a new student all over again!

Hi everyone! I wanna first say congrats to everyone! I am also starting in fall. I have been reading my fundamentals book and can't wait to get started :) . I been volunteering at a hospital and hoping that this experience helps me throughout clinical. I'm so anxious but in a good way!

I received my acceptance letter to an ASN program in April (the week of my birthday- great present!). I have orientation next Thursday for two hours, and then classes start August 27. I only have nursing fundamentals and lab/clinical. I talked to someone currently in the program and we spend the first nine weeks during lab in a simulation lab, learning skills, then the last six weeks at a nursing home. I'm excited! And driving my husband crazy haha!

I got accepted may 17th and orientation started June 11th... class started 7 days later. I just wrapped up the summer intersession on Thursday and can't believe how fast this all happened. Its not supposed to be easy but I didn't find it incredibly hard either. Fall semester I will brace for shock.

Yeah buddy! South Ga Tech Practical Nursing student! Summer semester PASSED with diet & nutrition & dosage calculations! Aug 16th fundamentals(1st 8 wks) & med surge 1(2nd 8 wks) AUG 2013 HERE I COME! Moving on up the ladder! I wont stop until i get that RN behind my name! Congrats 2 EVERYBODY!
