  1. Last semester I took micro, chem, gov 2, eng 2, statistics (17hrs) and a CNA course. I am so happy to have hair left on my head lol i literally cut everyone out of my life for those 4 months of school. I ended up making all A's.( thank goodness :-) however I would not recommend taking that many hrs unless you have no other choice. I would definitely take A&P 2 before nursing begins so your focus will be solely on the nursing courses .
  2. No I'm from sugar land texas about 1hr45min away. I have been to the Bryan/college station area 2 times now to go apt hunting and I found my place YAY! I will be moving there mid aug. I bought a pharm book at half price books to kind of read through but I highly doubt I will finish before school lol in your class did you form study groups and stuff like that? Also has anyone dropped out of the program. I always wondered if the programs end with the same amount that started.
  3. Oh wow! I defenately need to make my way there! What is the name of the store? And it's in Bryan or college station? Not really familiar with the area.
  4. Thanks so much! Very helpful on the other blinn thread I asked about this and you just answered my questions.
  5. Aww thanks! I'm so excited! I know it's hard work, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm most nervous about patho and pharm. any tips?
  6. I took it already. I finished all of my pre req classes b/c I applied to BSN as well as ADN programs. Will you be in the fall program?
  7. Have you made a decision on what you are going to do?
  8. I thought that would be the case but I guess not lol. If you haven't heard back yet there is still a chance for ya lol stay positive guys it's crazy but it's better to have not heard anything yet you still have a chance lol I'm sure y'all will find out by this week or next. They were working late b/c my email was sent after 9 pm so they are working hard
  9. Thanks everyone! No it didn't go to my spam it was sent/ I received it at 9:15pm last night.
  10. Thanks! :-)
  11. Sorry for asking a million and one questions lol
  12. CONGRATS! How long did it take you to get your blue card? I started my process like 2 weeks after the email was sent. I need to check my mail more often lol. I'm so excited! I am glad to finally see someone on here going to the same school! It really felt real once was registered in the classes that we will be taking. Do you live in the Bryan/ college station area? If so do you have recommendations on apartments? I will be out there tomorrow on the hunt!
  13. I just got an email from UTMB saying that I did not get in :-/ kinda sad but I start at blinn August 26th :-) good luck to every one! Check your email :-)
  14. I have fulfilled all of the things I need to do to get started at blinn in August fingerprint physical exam etc. If I don't make it in this go round I will start there. The reason I did is because I know someone who applied to a BSN program 3 times before getting into her choice school. Se wanted to get in there because of the location and she has kids so commuting far was not an option. That's a year and a half wasted where if she had just accepted the school that did accept her she would have been darn near done with school. If you feel like you would have a good chance of getting in next semester and you are set on attending utmb then follow your heart. On the flip side you did get into a good program so you have somewhere to fall back on,at this point it's just up to you and what you feel is best for your situation.
  15. Yay! Congrats girl! I'm sure that's one big sigh of relief
