Hello everyone,
I'm currently preparing to apply to JHSON MSN: Entry into nursing program for fall 2020. I was wondering anyone has an idea what the acceptance criteria is?
I have a very good gpa in undergrad (3.92) so the admissions team told me I do not need to include GRE scores.
Also how many words should our essays be?
Best of Luck!

I have yet to take Human Growth and Development, which I am planning on taking next semester, but I already have 17 units completed. Does this mean I would not need to take Human Growth and Development since I've already completed 17?
I don't think that should be a problem. I haven't taken this course either and plan on taking it in the spring semester. I was accepted regardless and got a scholarship too. In ur NursingCAS application you will only list it as in progress.
Also on the essay, the provided space allows you to write not more than 300 characters, that is inclusive of words and spaces which may yield more than 300 words after you are done.
Good luck in your application
Congratulations! I've been lurking but finally made an account. I'm nervous! I turned everything in for the Jan deadline but I'm still waiting on two recommendations. I spoke to both professors last week and they assured me they would turn it in but they are really cutting it close and keeping me on edge.?

All my essays were over the word limited JH suggested; some of mine may have a little over five hundred words. There is a character limit in the NursingCAS application which will limit what you're going to say. I believe it three thousand, which included spaces, next line, punctuations, and so forth. JH does to this so people are concise and the fact they have to read at least a few hundred essays.

You have to do all your prerequisites. What they saying is you have to have so many completed by the time you apply, but you have some in progress. You have to have all of them completed by the time the program starts. I believe JH FAQs has more details on it. I would make sure you indicated on NursingCAS what you plan on taking the next school term in the academic history.
Every school is a little different on how many if any, prerequisites you may in progress. Be careful and try to keep track of what each school wants or allows.

Because people can be lazy, you may want to post a link to the FB group you created.

Sorry for delayed response ?

I think you will still need to take human growth because it’s a required course.
