2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Hi!

I wanted to start a board for the fall enrollments for 2019 for the Nursing Program! I have been on other boards for previous HCC entries and find it super helpful and encouraging to hear from others experience as well as overcoming challenges in the process. I plan to apply for the fall class for the nursing program at HCC! I take the TEAS this Monday, fingers crossed all goes well. I look forward to hearing from future classmates! Please, feel free to share and ask questions!

I have the following:

- 3.8 GPA (but getting subtracted 0.2 for a third attempt)

- 72 on TEAS

- Daley Mabry evening/weekend

Does anyone know if they round up the GPA? For example, I have a 3.86. Would that be a 3.8 or a 3.9 if it’s rounded..?

Yea I think I will just wait until next week, probably by next week they will have the grades posted, hopefully I can get in nights and weekends dale mabry so I dnt need to quit my job

I think they rounded to 3.9, but I wouldn’t worry because with a 3.8 or 3.9 is impossible not to get in. ?

Thanks! I only worry because they will subtract from my GPA due to me having a third attempt. So, I’m curious at what it will end up at.

oh I see, mine is a 3.7 I think I will get in with that, I just hope they have nights and weekends.

I don’t know how hard nursing school is or if I will be able to work full time and be able to keep my grades high enough not to get cut off lol.

Does anyone knows what is the lowest grade you can get in order not to get cut off from the course?

I applied for Dale Mabry Nights/Weekends due to working a full time job.

My GPA is a 3.77777778 (unsure if they will round). However, I believe the GPA is high enough to be accepted

When I applied two semesters ago they were late on giving out letters. It was like going into July everyone was freaking out lol. I think they are moving quicker this time though because my web advisor already shows received under documents. Last time it didn’t show up until the day after the deadline.
