2019 Fall Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Awesome, I hear the application process drags! After I take the Teas I will be applying as well. I prefer the Dale Mabry location but due to th he curriculum changes, I am sure if they will have evening classes. I will check tommorow. Sure post the info, that would be great ! Thanks!

I wrote this on another board: Wanted to add on here just in case it is helpful to anyone else.

I recently took the TEAS test, I studied using the Mometrix Test Prep book. I order it from Amazon. I also purchased two practice test from the creators of the TEAS test (I would not recommend it unless you have extra money laying around). Contrary to what reviewers on youtube claim, it really was not as helpful as I thought it would be. However, I did benefit from the practice teas test when it came to the math sections; it is the same as the actual exam except for the wording, numbers, graphs, etc. As for the science section, it does not matter how many practice tests you take, it's so random. Truly I got caught by surprise on about 10% of them. If you would like more feedback, let me know. I'm wrapping up my essay's//studying for my finals for this week but I will be more than happy to help if you anyone other questions.

I submitted my application on 4.22.19 for the Fall entry. Fingers-crossed everything gets received and processed quickly. Anyone else submitted the app yet?

I completely, compared to other forums I have seen in the past the traffic for this semester is pretty light. Maybe this fall class will be smaller? Did you finish the teas yet?

HCC Bookstore Price for textbook bundle: $1200

Amazons Price (excludes the iCare access code): Currently $825.27 (Price has gone up by about $150 since I bought it but you have to purchase iCare on top of that (extra $195) so you would be at about $1025 buying it yourself between amazon and buying the last access code separate from the website so save yourself $175 and get it off amazon

Scrubs where about $170 for me. I bought 3 tops 3 bottoms 1 jacket and all three tops as well as the jacket were embroidered

There were 3 other recommended books totaling $126.20 on amazon currently (I think one of them is Fundamentals Success)

Badges cost about $25 for one complete set for all 4 semesters

Need a stethoscope (that depends on your budget)
