Hey Guys! I've seen forums for Fall 2020 but none for Spring 2021 even though the deadline is coming up in a couple of months! I thought I'd set a forum up to ask questions and help each other out! I haven't even taken my TEAS yet because everything is closed but anyway!

Overall GPA- 3.7

Pre-req GPA- 3.4

TEAS -N/A

Hello everyone!

So, I still have one pre-req left and I will be taking that this Summer. Do you think I could still make the cut to apply for Spring 2021? Any thoughts??

Yes you can! The deadline for Spring 2021 is in early August and that’s when Summer semester ends! I’m doing classes that end at the end of July just so I have enough time to do my application 🙂

Hello! I am also applying for Spring 2021. I am finishing up sociology, but if I get an A my pre-requisite GPA is 3.35. My overall is not good (2.9) and I got an 87.3 on my TEAS.

Hi guys !
I am glad I found this ! I noticed that all the TEAS test centers are closed. Does anyone know what’s what they will be looking closely? Would it be GPA mainly?
I haven’t taken my TEAS Test yet. I just finished all my Pre Reqs! I want to apply for Spring !

It looks like they are waiving the TEAS for the Spring admissions. So I would guess that it would just be based on GPA.

I hope we get in! A&P kicked my butt so my GPA isn’t too hot either. I’m riding on the hope that the cut off GPA will be lower for Spring because of COVID. Maybe the conditions the hospitals are in will weed out people in nursing for the wrong reasons. Hopefully less people apply, less competition haha 😛

Me too 😭 I failed the lecture the first time I took it and just retook it. Do you know if they just take the highest grade to calculate prerequisite GPA? I did pretty well on my TEAS so I was hoping that would save me, but I'm definitely with you in hoping its not as competitive due to COVID.
