Hello! I am also applying for Spring 2021. I am finishing up sociology, but if I get an A my pre-requisite GPA is 3.35. My overall is not good (2.9) and I got an 87.3 on my TEAS.

I am glad I found this ! I noticed that all the TEAS test centers are closed. Does anyone know what’s what they will be looking closely? Would it be GPA mainly?
I haven’t taken my TEAS Test yet. I just finished all my Pre Reqs! I want to apply for Spring !

It looks like they are waiving the TEAS for the Spring admissions. So I would guess that it would just be based on GPA.

Maybe the conditions the hospitals are in will weed out people in nursing for the wrong reasons. Hopefully less people apply, less competition haha ?

Me too ? I failed the lecture the first time I took it and just retook it. Do you know if they just take the highest grade to calculate prerequisite GPA? I did pretty well on my TEAS so I was hoping that would save me, but I'm definitely with you in hoping its not as competitive due to COVID.

Hey guys, so glad I found this site! I too am hoping for a lower cut off GPA for Spring 2021 and maybe fewer applicants, LOL ?. I'm changing careers and had to take 4 of my prereqs this Spring and Summer, which I should have As in when I'm done. But my writing prereq, taken 19 years ago- I got a C in as a freshman ?. Of course I'm much of a better student now, but... oh well. Can't re-take the class. Took the TEAS back in December 2019, got a 92. I wish that would help LOL. Anyway, hoping for the best, after reading the horror of that unexpectedly high GPA cutoff in Fall 2019.

LOL. Hey guys, how's everyone doing? Did y'all see that HCC is only accepting the nursing application online now? You have to email in their form, they won't be accepting any mail-in or hand delivered applications...

Also, does anyone know what the starting hours are for the Dale Mabry afternoon cohort? I saw that the morning cohort can start as early as 7a..
